Deposit & Booking
To secure your commission, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit reserves your place and allows me to begin work on your portrait.
The remaining balance is due upon final approval of the artwork, before dispatch.
Process
High-quality, clear, and well-lit reference photos are essential for creating the most accurate portrait possible.
If you’re commissioning a memorial portrait and have limited photo options, please don’t worry — I’ll always do my best to help.

Once booked, I’ll provide:
• An initial sketch for approval of composition and layout
• Up to three composition sketch revisions at no additional cost
• Additional sketches beyond this will incur a small fee, agreed in advance
• Progress updates throughout the drawing process
• A final approval stage before dispatch
This ensures you're happy every step of the way, while allowing time to refine the portrait to your liking.

Typical turnaround is between 2–6 weeks, depending on current bookings and the complexity of the piece.
If you need your portrait by a specific date (such as a birthday or Christmas), please let me know as early as possible and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
Postage & Returns
All portraits are shipped via Royal Mail Tracked services.
You will receive tracking details once your portrait is dispatched.
UK shipping is included in your quote. Please get in touch for international shipping options.

Due to the custom nature of these portraits, refunds and returns are not accepted unless the item arrives damaged.
Please check your order on arrival and contact me within 48 hours if there is a problem.
Usage & Copyright
I retain full copyright and reproduction rights to all artwork, including pet portraits. This allows me to share finished pieces on social media or use them in promotional materials and printed ranges.
If you'd prefer the piece not to be shared (e.g. if it’s a surprise gift), just let me know at the time of booking.
Customers may not reproduce, alter, or sell the artwork without written permission. Breach of these terms may result in legal action.
